Comic by Tate and I

For this project we were told to get a partner and make a comic. Tate and I decided to be partners and ours is about me eating chips and becoming mutated. We were inspired by me eating a bag of chips that day. We are satisfied with our work and would not change anything about it.

For this assignment we were told to create four creative visual puns. I decided to do X-Box, Barbecue, Peanut Butter, and Dunkin Donuts. I used Gradient Map on the X-Box to make it more colorful and interesting. I am very satisfied with my work and would not change anything about it.  

Crazy Combo

For this project we were told to get a variety of objects and mix them together to create one crazy combo.    I approached this assignment by wanting to put a human head on an animal's body so i got a gorilla's body and put an old lady's head on it. I am very satisfied with my work and i would not do anything differently next time. I really liked this project and enjoyed it very much.  

For this assignment we were told to use a negative shape and put words or a different picture inside of it. I wanted to do a basketball player, because that is my favorite sport, so i got a picture of John Wall, point guard for the Washington Wizards. Then i took the lyrics of the song about John Wall and put it on his body. I was inspired by my friend John Wall who told me to do a project about him. I am very satisfied with my work and would not change anything about it.

For this project we were told to use negative space and and put words or a different picture inside of it. I wanted to do something related to sports so i decided to get a picture of a UVA lacrosse player. Then i got a picture of a glacier so i could say "Chill Lax". Tate's picture inspired me for my picture. I am very satisfied with my work and i think i did a good job on this project.

For this project we were told to use wordle for the first time. I decided I wanted to use lyrics from a song and I picked the song Big Green Tractor by Jason Aldean. Wordle rearranges the words and makes them different colers. I liked the way i did this assignment and I would not change anything about it.

For this project we were given 15 random objects that were all green and we had to use all of them in our picture but change them up a little bit. My goal was to keep some of the green but i changed the color for some of the objects. I also changed Sam's face and body to make him look weird and messed up. I like the way i did it and would not change anything.

For this assignment we were told to select a picture from the internet and delete part of the picture to make it better, funnier or just weird. I thought it would be cool to get a sports picture and take something important out of it. So i got a picture of Dwight Howard doing a dunk in the Dunk Contest and took away the ball in his hand and the backboard. I am very satisfied with my work because it turned out great and it really looks like the things that i took away were never there.

For this assignment we were given a picture with instruments, music notes, and people playing instruments in the picture. We were told to separate each one and change them up. Going into this project i was thinking that i wanted to keep almost everything i could that was in the picture. So i kept all of the band and duplicated the music note. I thought that the music note was the most significant so i based my picture on it. I am very satisfied with my work because i tried my hardest and did what the directions said to do.
