When I Grow Up I Want To Be A Cooker

Maria Marshall  (British, born India, 1966)

                                                                                              Date: 1998
I like this photograph because it shows that kids see their parents or role models doing something wrong but they don't know that and want to try it anyway. Kids now-a-days experience bad things, like when they see their parents smoking or drinking, and it can have a big effect on them. Children need to be taught what is right or wrong from early on, which will help them succeed in life. Luckily, this photograph was set up by this boys mother and the cigarette is a fake. The mother added puffs of smoke and rings using Hollywood special-effects software. She did this work to ask people how parents can prevent their sons/daughters form becoming drug addicts in the future.
